Welcome to the Harrow and District Diabetes UK Group
It is our aim to provide help and support to people living with diabetes in and around Harrow.
We do this through monthly meetings, designed to provide a safe, social forum to discuss diabetes and its effects. We also try to raise money to promote awareness of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes and generally contribute in any way we can.
Whether you’ve been diagnosed yourself, are the parent of a child with diabetes, or if you’re simply someone who wants information, we welcome you to join our meetings (7.30pm for an 8pm start) at Harrow Baptist Church, College Road, Harrow HA1 1BA (close to Brook Street Bureau) on the 4th Thursday of each month (except December and August).
Come along each month or just try a single meeting – there’s no joining fee or committment needed!
Contact our secretary, Serena Middleton, Tel: 020 8428 1446 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.

Harrow Type 1s ‘Meet Up’
A regular, informal meeting for adults with type 1 diabetes where you can connect, share information, laugh, chat and learn together over a drink (buy your own)!
Food available at the bar if needed. We usually sit to the left hand side of the bar as you enter the pub – look for a sign on the table. Do bring your partner or friend if they’re interested too!
Email email@example.com for more information. We meet bi-monthly from 7.00 to 10.00 pm on the 2nd Wednesday in the month in months 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11 at the Royal Oak, 84 St Ann’s Road, Harrow, HA1 1JP.
